Advanced Printing Workshop
In this workshop I teach you archival quality printing on fiber paper. Previous darkroom experience is required, so please, if you don’t feel confident enough yet, take the Basics Class first.

- Contrast controlling
- Different darkroom “tricks” and methods to achieve the required result
- Archival washing

For this workshop it is important that you come prepared with a negative that you would like to use. It would also be good if you could already have a general idea about how you would like your final print to look. During the Saturday class we print, and at the end of the day we wash the final prints and tape them to the glass to dry. On Sunday we return to the lab to take the prints off the glass and retouch and cut them.
There is a maximum of 2 people per workshop. The workshop takes a full day and a half the next day.
The price is 250 € + VAT per person including equipment and material.
The workshops are held upon requests, to apply, please write an email to: [email protected]
Vouchers / Gift cards are also available.
Location: Simplon Lab, Simplon str 65, 10245 Berlin, Friedrichshain – 2 minutes from the Ostkreuz S-Bahn station.
The chemicals which we use are not dangerous, but they stain, so please wear clothes that you don’t mind becoming permanently stained in case of an accident.
